2001 - Resource Directory
The Durham Region Environmental Resource Directory was produced in 2001 by Durham Environmental Network (DEN). Its purpose is threefold:
- To provide an overview of some of the environmental issues in Durham Region
- To provide a listing of environmental groups by area municipality in Durham Region, including their purpose, area(s) of interest, contact people and resources available.
- To provide a list of resource materials by environmental issue, from both government and non-government sources
The Directory is a public resource that has been made available free-of-charge to all public libraries, school libraries, environmental groups, public information centres and municipal government offices in Durham Region. It details the efforts of many individuals and groups that have worked for a common goal – to protect a piece of the planet for future generations.
